New world - new me!

The exercise regime has kicked in and I now go jogging on a regular basis.  I have now managed up to 8km without stopping no mean feet for someone who couldn't run to the end of the street.  This is me and my work colleague finishing a 6km charity run, sprinting to the finish line.  We are as happy as we look it was a big achievement and I felt as if I could have gone again.

All is well, our treasured possessions arrived and our house is now a home!

Dreams do come true!

Yes - I have managed to secure a job in New Zealand and move there in May.  Life is hectic just back last week from NZ to organise selling the house and car and move all our worldly goods.  My organisation skills are being put to the test!

Changed my countdown.  We are leaving for NZ on 5 February 2012 with the hope that we realise our dream and secure a job in NZ enabling us to settle there.  This will be a make or break trip but one which will be worth while I am sure.

Good company!

Our trip to Kos was fab, the hotel, food, weather and company were excellent.  Now feel as though my batteries have been recharged.

Proud Mum!

My daughter has just qualified as a nurse!  She is a star and I am so proud of her.  Not sure where the 3 years have gone and a bit scary to think she is a nurse and may be coming at me one day with a needle.  But I hear she is good!
